Validating the intensity of combustion through chemical signatures left in Charcoal

This project collected the charcoal particles (macro scale >10-1mm diameter) from burnt specimens of various Australian native plants. This is the material will be analysed under FTIR to determine the chemical signature of charcoal fired at differing temperatures.
